Gripple Plus Medium Wire Tensioner Joiner 50pc. The Gripple is a helpful little tightener that also has the ability to connect a broken length of monofilament/wire. Where a length of monofilament has run out and another has been started, both ends may be inserted into the channels of a Gripple where they will be automatically gripped and held together. To tighten the Gripple, a Gripple tightening tool is used to ratchet one of the lengths of monofilament through the Gripple until the entire length of wire is completely tight. This Gripple is compatible with our 12 gauge monofilament wire and our Gripple tightening tool. You must use the Gripple tightening tool to operate a Gripple correctly.
